Wedding Mini Album (Commissioned SOLD)

and here it is packaged and ready to go to it's new owners...

Well here is the Wedding Album that I was asked to make. I am happy with the result. It was a bit of a challenge, it always is when you have to start from scratch.

I ended up making the Organza flowers because I couldn't find any that I liked enough to use. I am so tough on myself, such a perfectionist. I drive myself crazy with it. The colours are corresponding with the Wedding and I think they work lovely together. White, Silver and Cream and black. I used eyelets on the punch holes on the pages to save the wear and tear on the paper and it always gives a finished look. I think the album holds about 18 photos all together. I have a waterfall album on one page, a triple slider, a gate fold and various other ways of holding the photos. There are plenty of tags for journalling and more photos, plus pockets for keepsakes such as Invitations etc. It was a HUGE project but rewarding. I hope that the Bride and Groom will be happy to keep their wonderful memories amongst these pages. If you check my You tube videos you can see the final results in a photo montage and also after I had packaged it. The music on the videos makes all the difference I think!

My Summers - You tube video No.20

Well I like the way this turned out. My inspiration came equally from the photograph and the song that I have printed on my page. The song is One Summer by Daryl Braithwaite. You can hear it on my You Tube video NO. 20 as it accompanies the photo montage of this page.

The colours of this page are so beachy and the patterned paper is just gorgeous. I used my Derwent pencils (I love them) and some chipboard letters. I like the mix of the written letters and the chipboard. One flat and the other has dimension, one smooth and the other has texture. A bit like the sand and the sea...

Hope you like it. Check out the video, it's worth it just to listen to the song.
